
Murrays Snow Express & Packages from Sydney to NSW Snowy Mountains - Terms & Conditions
All bookings on Murrays Snow Express & Packages are subject to the following terms & conditions as of 14th March 2013.
Booking conditions
All bookings are non-refundable & non-transferable. Photo Identification in the form of a licence or passport (including concessions, seniors & student ID) may be requested when boarding the coach. If the passenger fails to board the coach, the fare will be forfeited. Day return tickets are only valid for same day travel. We do not offer open dated tickets on any Murrays service.
Credit Card Surcharge
Murrays will charge an additional fee of 2% of the total value of the fare when paying via American Express, Diners or Japanese cards.
Change a booking conditions & fees
All bookings can be changed 48 hours prior to the original scheduled departure time by calling our booking office (6am - 7pm, 7 days a week on 13 22 51). Changes to your pick up and drop off destinations can only be made by calling our booking office between 6am – 7pm, 7 days a week on 13 22 51 but all changes must be made 48hrs prior to the scheduled departure time. All changes are subject to availability & a change of booking fee of $20 per booking. We do not offer open dated tickets or credits on any Murrays service. Cancellations
All bookings are non-refundable & non transferable. Bookings can be changed but all changes must be made 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the original booking. All changes must be made by calling our booking office 48hrs prior to the original scheduled booking (6am - 7pm, 7 days a week on 13 22 51) with a change of booking fee of $20 per booking. Fare Conditions
- All fares are subject to change without prior notice.
- Adult- Any person 18 years & over. (15 -17 years are charged at the adult fare & must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years.)
- Child- Child fare applicable for 2 -14 years & must be accompanied by a paying adult (over the age of 18 years).
- Children under 18 years- Children under the age of 18 years are not permitted to travel unaccompanied on any Murrays Australia snow service. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult (over the age of 18+ yrs) Proof of age for the accompanied person must be shown on departure if no identification is provided travel may be refused for both passengers.. The person accompanying the child under the age of 18 yrs old must accept full responsibility for the passenger under the age of 18yrs during the journey.
- Unaccompanied Minors travel- Murrays do not offer Unaccompanied Minor travel for passengers under the age of 18 years. All passengers under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a full paying adult over 18 years old.
- Infants (under 2yrs) & Child Restraints- Infants under 2 years of age may travel free of charge if accompanied by a full fare paying adult. An infant will travel free of charge as they will not occupy a seat. Should an infant require a seat, the applicable child rate will be charged. Passengers may bring there own child restraint seat, fit & secure the seat to the appropriate anchor point provided. The child restraint seat must comply with Australian Standards. A seat must be purchased to accommodate the child restraint seat. All bookings requiring a child restraint must be made 24hrs prior to the scheduled departure time by calling our booking office on 13 22 51 between 9am - 5pm, 7 days a week or forwarding an email to reservations@murrays.com.au
Timetable & Travel Conditions
All schedules are correct at the time of placement on the website. Murrays services operate subject to passenger demand & availability. The company reserves the right to alter the schedules as it deems necessary. Whilst every effort is made to maintain the timetabled service, no responsibility will be taken for inconvenience due to delayed service and any additional cost or expenses. Travel duration times are subject to change due to traffic & weather conditions. Murrays highly recommends that when making travel plans that you ensure that a contingency is in place for unforeseen circumstances that may occur which is out of our control. We strongly recommend travel insurance and Murrays will not be held responsible for costs or fees associated to any travel disruptions due to cancellation or delays of the service resulting in unforeseen circumstances.
Seating Allocation
Allocated seating is not available & seating is based on a first come first served basis.
Departures
All coaches commence loading 30 mins prior to departure at the 486 Pitt Street, Sydney. We recommend passengers be at scheduled stop and check in luggage with driver 15 minutes prior to departure. All passengers must board the coach 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Failure to board the coach within 10 minutes of the departure time your fare & seat will be forfeited. The Sydney snow service provides a comfort stop at Canberra on the forward & return journeys for passengers.

Bookings are essential for Sydney International Airport pick up and drop offs as Murrays will only stop to pick up & drop off passengers where a booking has been made. We recommend passengers be at scheduled stop 10 minutes prior to departure.

Equipment Bond
A cash bond or credit card imprint will be required to hire equipment for Thredbo & Perisher resorts.
Luggage
The company accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to luggage arising out of or in any way incidental to the service or the accommodation or the transfer of any luggage between the vehicle and any place of accommodation whether such loss or damage may be due to alleged negligence or misconduct on the part of the company, its employees or agents or otherwise whoever. We recommend that personal travel insurance is obtained when making your travel arrangements.
The total amount of free of charge luggage per fare paying passenger is one suitcase (no more than 32 kgs) and one small carry on bag is able to be taken onboard the coach and must be able to be placed underneath the seat in front or above in the overhead baggage area. Any carry on bag that does not fit under the seat or overhead in the baggage area must be placed in the luggage area underneath the coach. Additional luggage that exceeds the allocated luggage amounts are subject to the following additional charges:
- Extra Suitcase/Bag weighing no more than 32kg - $10 per additional bag.
- Surfboard; Ski's and Snowboards; Pushbikes (must be in a box, bike Bag or hardcase) Golf Bags; Large Packages/Boxes (no more than 32 kgs) - $20.00
- Prams and Wheelchairs - FOC
- No items over 32kg will be carried
Excess luggage may not always be able to travel on the same service as passengers and may need to be carried on another service
For safety reasons explosive goods & flammable items can not be carried on any Murrays service.
Snow Pickup Locations
Bookings are essential as Murrays will only pick up passengers from the stops where passengers are booked on a service.
Snow Conditions
Murrays takes no responsibility for snow conditions on the day of travel or the availability of the hiring equipment.
Passenger Behaviour
Murrays reserves the right to refuse travel or remove any passenger from the coach who is behaving in a disruptive or inappropriate manner. Smoking & the consumption of illicit drugs & alcohol is strictly prohibited onboard the coach & are in line with federal & state government regulations.
Dress Standards
All passengers must comply with a minimum of dress standards which includes a shirt, shorts/trousers/skirt and footwear.
Food & Beverages
Eating on the coach is permitted but, for the comfort of other passengers, we do not allow hot drinks or hot food as the odour quickly spreads throughout the coach. Non-alcoholic drinks are permitted but for safety purposes no drinks in glass bottles are allowed on board. The consumption of Alcohol is not permitted on board the coach.
