Express Service - Terms & Conditions

Tickets

Open Tickets are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.

Passengers with discounted tickets have the option to change the time/date of the ticket for an upgrade fee of $20.00 per person per trip. Discounted tickets cannot be open dated.

Fully Flexible Fares are transferable to another service prior to the departure of the original service, or can be open date for six months from date of purchase.

Cancellations

All bookings are non-refundable.

Full fares are transferable to another service prior to the departure of the original service, or can be open dated for six months from the date of purchase. All bookings cannot be transferred to another person.

If the passenger fails to board the coach, the fare will be forfeited.

Conditions

All schedules are correct at the time of placement on the web site. The company reserves the right to alter the schedules as it deems necessary. Whilst every effort is made to maintain the timetabled service, no responsibility will be taken for inconvenience due to delayed service and any additional cost or expenses.

Departures

We recommend passengers be at scheduled stop and check in luggage with driver 15 minutes prior to departure.

Excess Luggage

The total amount of free of charge luggage per fare paying passenger is one suitcase (no more than 20kgs) and one small carry on cabin bag. Anything in excess of this is subject to the following additional charges:

  • Extra Suitcase/Bag; Surfboard; Ski's and Snowboards; Pushbikes (must be in a box); Golf Bags; Large Packages/Boxes - $20.00
  • Envelopes (Maximum size A3) - $10.00
  • Prams and Wheelchairs - FOC
  • Any suitcase/bag/package in excess of 20kgs in weight MUST be loaded/unloaded by the passenger.

Excess luggage may not always be able to travel on the same service as passengers and need to be carried on a later service.

Luggage

The company accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to luggage arising out of or in any way incidental to the service or the accommodation or the transfer of any luggage between the vehicle and any place of accommodation whether such loss or damage may be due to alleged negligence or misconduct on the part of the company, its employees or agents or otherwise whoever.

Unaccompanied Child Policy for Express Services

Children under the age of 12 years are not permitted to travel unaccompanied on any Murrays Australia service. Between the ages of 12 and 14 years an unaccompanied form is required for each stage of travel for our Express Services to/from Canberra, Sydney, Wollongong & South Coast services. Download the "Unaccompanied Form" here.

Children under the age of 15 years are not permitted to travel unaccompanied on any Murrays Australia snow service. Between the ages of 15 & 18 years an unaccompanied minor form is required. Forms are available at the booking office or online.

Murrays Snow Express and Packages - Terms & Conditions

Tickets

Open tickets for snow express are valid for current year snow season only. Day return tickets are only valid for same day travel. No refund or change of date can be made for day return.

Cancellations

All bookings are non-refundable.

Any change to date of travel must be made 48 hours before departure. A change fee may occur for any changes to the booking. If the passenger fails to board the coach, the fare will be forfeited.

All bookings cannot be transferred to another person.

A cash bond or credit card imprint will be required to hire equipment.

Snow Pickup Locations

Bookings are essential as Murrays will only pick up passengers from the stops where passengers are booked on a service.

Snow Conditions

Murrays takes no responsibility for snow conditions on the day of travel or the availability of the hiring equipment

Frequent Snow Travellers Program

1. A passengers needs to purchase & travel on 3 full ski or snowboard packages throughout one snow season to qualify to get 25% off the 4th package.

2. To redeem your 25% off your 4th trip you must be the same passenger that has travelled on all 3 previous trips in the 2010 snow season.

3. To redeem your discount you must retain proof of travel in the travelling passengers name from all 3 previous bookings (proof of travel item: booking confirmation or tax invoice only) and purchase your 4th ticket in person from the Murrays booking office at the Jolimont Centre.

4. The Murrays Snow Rider discount fare cannot be redeemed via the Murrays website

Special Events Services - Terms & Conditions

Special Event Transfers - Murrays reserve the right to cancel the service due to low patronage and that in the event of any cancellation money will be refunded but no further liability in respect of the cancellation will be incurred by Murrays.
